Sessions S001–S243 are archived whole in wiki/archive/log-S001-S243.md (moved 2026-09-04, S244, unedited). This file is the live chronicle. tools/check_state.py fails if it exceeds 40 KB or if its last line runs past 60 words; when the cap is hit, move the oldest lines to the archive.
