action=parseAPI, fetched 2026-08-02 (S089). Stored atsource-fr.txt, 1,474 French words, 42 paragraphs. - Comparator (never stored, never displayed): the anonymous English "Minuet" in Original Short Stories vol. 10 (M. Walter Dunne, 1903), Project Gutenberg #3086, 1,554 words.
The gate fired, and the work was discarded
Discard rule, frozen before the measurement: longest common run ≥ 12 tokens, or ≥ 1 shared 12-gram.
| cell | shared 7-grams | 12-grams | 15-grams | longest run |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| gate: lead vs Dunne 1903, "Minuet" | 12 | 3 | 0 | 14 tokens |
| null: lead vs Dunne 1903, "At Sea" | 0 | 0 | 0 | 3 |
| null: lead vs Dunne 1903, "The Son" | 0 | 0 | 0 | 3 |
| null: lead vs Dunne 1903, "Pierrot" | 0 | 0 | 0 | 2 |
The run: "bridelle an old bachelor who passed for a sceptic i have seen war at" — 14 tokens, of which two are the character's name. The three nulls are other stories in the same volume by the same anonymous translator, so the "period English resembles period English" explanation is measured and dead: it produces 2–3 tokens, not 14.
The gate translation (T-menuet-R06-gate-v1, 265 French words) was frozen before the measurement ran, and the discard rule was not relaxed after it fired. Raw figures: workshop/experiments/E-20260802c-regime-scoring/materials/gate-result.json.
