Extract
- Confirms Hansard transcripts are published in four languages — English, Inuktitut (ᐃᓄᒃᑎᑐᑦ), Inuinnaqtun, and French — organized chronologically as same-day unedited "Blues," final edited/bound Hansard volumes, and a historical archive.
- No full-text search function is exposed on this landing page; transcripts are browsable only by date/sitting, as individual documents (PDFs, per the site's own file-naming convention). This means a targeted word-level search for iktsuarpok (queue item 2(b)) cannot be done via this page directly — it would require either a working site-wide/document-level search tool not found here, or opening and searching individual Inuktitut-language transcript PDFs one at a time, which this session's time budget did not attempt at scale.
Gaps
- Whether Google or another search engine has indexed the text of individual Inuktitut-language Hansard PDFs (making a targeted external search feasible) was not tested this session beyond a direct syllabics web search (see Iktsuarpok Gaps), which returned no Hansard hits.
- This closes the method (no built-in search exists) without closing the underlying question (whether the word ever appears in an Inuktitut-language legislative transcript) — a future session with a more targeted per-document search, or a site that indexes Hansard full text, could still make progress here.
